Who‘s Who Legal Submission Deadline

We offer similar content in Thought Leaders: Women in Law, a new addition to our Thought Leaders series that aims to put women in the legal sector even more prominently through Q&A and other content. All shortlist and winner decisions are independent and are made by an IFLR1000 panel of regional editors and researchers. Each shortlist is the culmination of months of research, analysis of hundreds of submissions, interviews with thousands of reviewers and interviews with hundreds of lawyers. Please contact us to tell us why you or people in your company should be considered for admission and in relation to which field of activity or national policy section. In almost all cases, we ask for confirmation of expertise by submitting testimonials from customers, whom we can contact for an evaluation. These must be provided in the format specified in our arbitrator template. Once we have received sufficient feedback to establish references as a potential candidate, practitioners can be added to the preliminary list of candidates for further consideration. As more deadlines for filing legal directories for the 2022 guides are announced later this year, we will be updating this list, so check back regularly for updates. You do not need to send us separate quotes for countries covered by Chambers Global if those countries are covered in one of our other guides (UK, US, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific). We do not contact references for the whole of Europe unless they relate to international trade/WTO or regulatory and public affairs, for which we encourage reviewers and separate submissions — if you have any questions, please contact Chambers Europe‘s Research Director.

A submission is a set of factual information provided by law firms and lawyers in a particular area of expertise. In conjunction with other sources, this information helps us determine whether a company or individual should be classified in our guides. Chambers and Partners requests information on diversity and inclusion as part of the research process. Download and use the Word Document template for your submission and the Client Arbitrator template in Excel. Visit our US submission page here for more helpful tips and tricks. *Please note that we accept submissions from companies based worldwide and create rankings for each jurisdiction where we have sufficient business evidence and customer feedback. Register your details via the link below to receive IFLR1000 search announcements and newsletters. Throughout the year, we provide updates on the progress of our research, including essential information such as timelines, templates and guidelines for search forms, as well as access to newly published research and editorial content. The IFLR1000 lawyer ranking categories are primarily based on proof of transaction, client and peer feedback. If you nominate lawyers for a category by submitting a submission, please include at least three examples of each applicant‘s work in the research cycle in the “Transaction Highlights” section (using Word or Excel templates) and three reviewers (using the Excel template) who can provide feedback on their work. Lawyers can also provide feedback on rankings and the legal markets in which they operate.

Relevant and reasoned comments will be considered when we find supporting evidence. Since 2013, WWL has been conducting an annual pro bono survey where companies from around the world are invited to submit in the form of a detailed questionnaire on the pro bono activity of companies. The results of our research are published annually on whoswholegal.com, and the company that has done the most outstanding work over the past year has been named WWL Pro Bono Firm of the Year. For the inclusion of new IVD categories, the application process consists of two phases: pre-submission and full submission. For the pre-submission phase, applicants must provide background information so that the EDL Secretariat, in collaboration with WHO disease control programmes, can determine whether they can be submitted for a full submission. Successful applicants will be asked to submit a full submission with more detailed information, including all supporting documents required to include the new test category. Other types of applications consist of a one-step submission process. Country submission is used for both guides. For several years, WWL has conducted interviews and Q&A with prominent lawyers and in-house counsel to raise awareness of the specific issues faced by women in the marketplace and highlight the challenges associated with success in the legal profession as a woman. Over the past 12 months, WWL has conducted its survey of legal advisors and gathered feedback from legal market sources to identify the best lawyers and in-house teams in the world. The results will be announced shortly.

The firm has been producing legal market intelligence since 1990 and remains the only international legal market research brand focused on ranking law firms and lawyers based on financial and corporate transactions. It is not necessary to request an extension for any of the following deadlines.
